The weather is so nice we've been able to start up our automatic watering system. We are finished carrying water jugs and draining hoses until next winter.
This means we can start using pastures that are further away from the farmstead without worrying about getting water to the animals. It is a half mile from one end of the farm to the other. Winter can make it very difficult to move feed and water to the back pastures.
Just one more reason we are happy that spring is here.
